The equipment, machinery, and expertise available at the new facilities will be added to the Instruct technology catalogue over the coming months, and will be made accessible for researchers worldwide.
Instruct Director Prof. Harald Schwalbe said, “With the Expansion of the Spanish Centre and the foundation of a German Centre, Instruct will be able to support an ever-increasing number of exciting research Projects in integrated structural biology, with all its impacts in solving societal challenges at the largest distributed infrastructure in structural biology.”
Instruct Centre Germany
The new German Centre is made up of five facilities:
This news follows the addition of Germany as a new Instruct member in 2024. Researchers in Instruct Member Countries and Organisations can receive funded access to the facilities in the German Centre, with access available to all researchers worldwide.
